Dodge Slashes $12,500 Off Charger Daytona EV

A sudden surprise

It didn’t take very long for Dodge to discount their newest EV, huh? Usually, when a new model goes on sale, dealers don’t have to resort to discounts to move the metal. That’s seemingly not the case with the Dodge Charger Daytona EV, which has been available for orders since September, and in showrooms for a just few months now.

According to CarsDirect, Dodge just distributed a notice offering a $7,500 nationwide refund on Charger Daytona sales. This comes only a few months after Dodge dropped the Charger Daytona’s monthly lease to $299. The newest incentives are the largest ones yet, with a new Charger discount of up to $12,500, which is more than 20% off the price of the Charger Daytona’s R/T trim.

That’s a ton of cash on the hood

For those looking to buy rather than lease, Dodge is now offering $7,500 in National Retail Customer Cash, or cash rebate in Dodge parlance. The move was initiated last week, as the Dodge Charger Daytona is not eligible for the $7,500 Federal Clean Vehicle Credit in 2025.

But that’s not all. The Dodge Boys are also offering $3,000 in National Dodge Performance Days Combo Bonus Cash. Do the math and Charger Daytona EV buyers can save $10,500 off the price of their new ride. And if you’re a West Coast resident, one who doesn’t currently drive a Stellantis vehicle, you’re also eligible for $2,000 in conquest cash, for a total savings of $12,500.

But there’s a caveat

Opting for the cash means bypassing Dodge’s cut-rate financing, which currently stands at 0% APR for 72 months in addition to an extra $3,000 in savings.

This makes the new Dodge Charger Daytona coupe a far more tempting option, allowing buyers to get a base $61,590 R/T for $49,090 including destination charge, while the more powerful $75,185 Scat Pack trim rings in at $62,685. That looks mighty affordable for an all-wheel-drive vehicle that provides a 0-60 mph time of 3.3 seconds along with an 11.5-second quarter-mile in Scat Pack trim.

Final thoughts

If you want this deal, you’ll have to act quickly as the rebate is being offered through March 31. The cash might be needed, too, given President Trump’s desire to eliminate the $7,500 federal tax credit, halt funding of a national charging infrastructure and the proposed threat of tariffs. The car could certainly face price hikes going forward, as the Dodge Charger Daytona is built in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
